Recipe: Brownie Batter Chia Pudding

Health Coach Jamie is always concocting recipes to help her patients ease into new dietary changes. The newest one she created is what she calls “Brownie Batter Chia Seed Pudding”. She had most of the DBC and Nature’s Remedies staff do a taste test and it was a hit! It is very nutrient dense but tastes like a dessert!


  • 6 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 can full-fat canned coconut milk
  • 1 c. flax milk or other dairy free milk (unsweetened)
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 scoop Vega Sport Protein or Vega Protein and Greens powder
  • Berries
  • Optional: coconut flakes, ½- 1 tsp. maple syrup

Mix all ingredients together except berries with a fork, whisk, or immersion blender. Let sit overnight.

Tip: It turns into a mousse-like dish, so if you don’t want it to turn into a mousse and more of a pudding, use another cup of flax milk and don’t use the coconut milk
